What is Anti-wrinkle Treatment?Anti-wrinkle Treatment is an incredibly popular cosmetic procedure and thought to be the most widely used as a non-invasive anti- ageing treatment in the world.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment is the brand name for a medical substance used in cosmetic procedures to tighten and smooth the skin. It is derived from a type of bacteria that has the effect of freezing the muscles and was originally developed to treat muscle spasms.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment is approved for use on the glabellar lines, which are located between your eyebrows and which become more defined with age. However, Anti-wrinkle Treatment is often used elsewhere, to soften lines on the forehead and around the eyes and lips.
Unlike injectable fillers, Anti-wrinkle Treatment does not plump the skin. Examples of dermal fillers include Restylane, Radiesse and Juvederm. Typically, Anti-wrinkle Treatment is used in the upper portion of the face while dermal fillers are used in other areas of the face. Some patients choose to use both fillers and Anti-wrinkle Treatment.
How does Anti-wrinkle Treatment work?
This procedure involves injecting small amount of Anti-wrinkle Treatment into the facial muscles. This blocks nerve signals from the brain which prevents the facial muscles from contracting.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment is most suited for use on the upper part of the face, particularly the forehead and eye area. It can also be used on the area around the chin and jaw. For full- face rejuvenation clients often combine Anti-wrinkle Treatment and Dermal Fillers, which are better suited for use on the bottom half of the face.

What are the benefits of Anti-wrinkle Treatment?
The most popular use of Anti-wrinkle Treatment is as a cosmetic treatment that combats the signs of ageing. However, Anti-wrinkle Treatment can also be used to control muscle spasms in the face and to treat migraine headaches. Anti-wrinkle Treatment has been shown to be particularly beneficial to people suffering from migraines, because it is not associated with side effects to the same extent that painkillers are.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment can be used to treat hyperhidrosis, more commonly known as excessive sweating. Anti-wrinkle Treatment provides a short- term solution to this condition and can be an effective alternative to prescription antiperspirants. When using Anti-wrinkle Treatment as a cosmetic treatment the benefits include; tightened, smoother complexion and softened lines and wrinkles.
Are Anti-wrinkle Treatment injections painful?
The needles that are used to inject Anti-wrinkle Treatment are very small and thin, which minimises the pain and discomfort felt by the client. The area that is being treated can also be numbed with an anaesthetic cream or cold pack before the procedure begins, which will effectively combat the potential pain.
If anaesthetic cream or a cold pack is used, you can expect some pain once the numbing effects have worn off, however this will typically be minimal.
Is Anti-wrinkle Treatment safe for your eyes?
Anti-wrinkle Treatment is medically approved for use on the eye muscles, as a means of treating a condition called strabismus it also treats eyelid twitching. This means that it has been proven to be safe for use in and around the eye area.
However, when used for cosmetic reasons, some precautions must be taken to prevent unwanted side effects these could include drooping eyelids, blurred vision, swelling and dryness. You should seek medical advice and treatment immediately if you find yourself affected by any of these side effects after Anti-wrinkle Treatment injections around the eye.
How often should you get Anti-wrinkle Treatment?
Typically, you can expect the effects of Anti-wrinkle Treatment injections to last for around three to four months. However, in some cases the effects may last for a longer or shorter time.
The length of time that Anti-wrinkle Treatment lasts seems to depend upon the following factors:
Age. Because older people tend to have looser skin and weaker facial muscles, Anti-wrinkle Treatment may last for a shorter time in their skin than in younger people’s.
Smoking and diet. Smoking and eating an unhealthy diet can both have a negative effect upon the quality and condition of your skin.
Other cosmetic treatments. The results of Anti-wrinkle Treatment are thought to be affected by whether or not you use other skincare treatments such as facials, microdermabrasion or other resurfacing methods.
Sun exposure. Skin with sun damage is weaker and more vulnerable to wrinkling. This will have an effect upon how long Anti-wrinkle Treatment lasts.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment use. It is not always clear whether regular Anti-wrinkle Treatment use will have a long-term positive or negative effect upon how well your skin responds to it. Some people will find that the quality of their skin improves the more they use Anti-wrinkle Treatment, others may develop a resistance to its effects, meaning that they need to use it more frequently.
Every patient is different, and the way in which they use Anti-wrinkle Treatment will vary depending upon the factors listed above. The main thing to bear in mind is that you should not have Anti-wrinkle Treatment injections in the same area more frequently than every three months.
Remember too that your body’s immune system can develop antibodies to Anti-wrinkle Treatment, which may combat the effects of the treatment. In some cases it may also lead to an allergy. These risks will increase the more frequently you use Anti-wrinkle Treatment. For this reason, it’s very important to only ever have Anti-wrinkle Treatment injected by a trained professional.

“I just wanted to turn back time because I’m young at heart and I don’t like to see an old woman looking back at me! I had four treatments in total and I barely recognise myself! It really works and I certainly look much younger!”

“Before I came to Crystal Clear Skin, I had tried so many other ways to lose weight. I felt unhappy about myself because of my weight, and refused to go up another pant size! The 3d-lipo program changed my life and the way I eat, look, and feel. I was surprised that the weight was coming off so quickly, and I loved that I could still cook my own food; I am a chef, so that was very important to me! I work in a kitchen 5 days a week but was able to lose the weight because I could still cook for myself. I love the way I feel now! I feel like I have the confidence to take on anything in life.”

“After the first treatment I noticed the difference and so did my friends. They commented on my ‘gorgeous skin’ many of them said I looked younger! I’m so much more confident now, I feel great!”
